The Musical Theater Educators' Alliance is a forum for discussion of all matters relating to the recruitment, training and placement of professionally- bound college and conservatory-affiliated music theater students. It was formed to serve the following purposes:

  • to facilitate the conversations among the diverse teaching population who are involved in the practical training of music theater students
  • to promote high standards
  • to share solutions
  • to broaden visibility
  • to strengthen credibility within the larger academic community and the profession
  • to exchange curricular, production and professional ideas and information
