The Musical
Theater Educators' Alliance is a forum for discussion of all
matters relating to the recruitment, training and placement of
professionally- bound college and conservatory-affiliated music theater
students. It was formed to serve the following purposes:
to facilitate the
conversations among the diverse teaching population who are involved in
the practical training of music theater students
to promote high standards
to share solutions
to broaden visibility
to strengthen credibility
within the larger academic community and the profession
to exchange curricular,
production and professional ideas and information
