The Musical
Theater Educators' Alliance is a forum for discussion of all
matters relating to the recruitment, training and placement of
professionally- bound college and conservatory-affiliated music theater
students. It was formed to serve the following purposes:
- to facilitate the
conversations among the diverse teaching population who are involved in
the practical training of music theater students
- to promote high standards
- to share solutions
- to broaden visibility
- to strengthen credibility
within the larger academic community and the profession
- to exchange curricular,
production and professional ideas and information
